DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (FIELD CENTRE SUPERVISOR):

1. Be the Supervisor of the Field Studies Centre and responsible for the well being of the Centre in general, including staff members under his / her care and all visitors to the Centre.
    

2. Responsible for the planning and supervising the day to day duties of all members of staff under his / her care.
    

3. Ensuring that the infrastructure (buildings, walkways, etc) and other facilities (electrical generator, water pump, etc) of the Centre are always in good (working) condition.
    

4. Ensuring that the supplies for the Centre such as fuel, gas, groceries, etc are sufficient and always available on site.
    

5. Responsible for good maintenance of field facilities such as forest trails, forest plots, overnight huts, etc.|
    

6. Responsible for meeting the general needs of scientists for their research activities both in the laboratory and field.
    

7. Responsible for carrying out an annual appraisal of KBFSC staff under his / her care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (PHYSIOTHERAPIST):

To assist the Head of Physiotherapy with the following matters:- 

1. Receive all patients requiring physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment and to cater to the best therapy with professional commitment and to the patients’ satisfaction, in accordance with guidelines practiced in physiotherapy.
    

2. Supervise and implement programs such as providing advice to patients on the correct execution of prescribed exercise protocols for rehabilitation.
    

3. Manage short courses and training linked to physiotherapy and rehabilitation for other Physiotherapy staff (e.g. assistant physiotherapists, students undergoing work placement).
    

4. Research, prepare and establish protocols and criterion for the use of various modalities and exercise routines while considering the requirement of the diverse nature of injuries in sports in consultation with the Sports Medicine Doctor.
    

5. Prepare the estimation for the annual budget based on an up-to-date inventory of equipment and supplies used in the Physiotherapy section.
    

6. Establish format for compiling data based profile after the correct completion of treatment. This includes submission of an annual report the Head of the Sports Medicine and Research Centre.
    

7. Provide support and contribute unconditionally to the activities organized by the Sports Medicine and Research Centre, the Department of Youth and Sports, or the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
    

8. Make onseself available for any medical coverage as and when requested, unconditionally.
    

9. Involvement as a Working Committee member in any activities organized by the Department of Youth and Sports or the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

2. Daily management and updating of seismic database.
    

3. Weekly edition of Seismic Bulletin for dissemination and exchange of earthquake information within and around Negara Brunei Darussalam.
